Flamework
Media Type
Sculpting molten glass in the flame.
I sculpt molten glass in an intense flame, creating wearable art, totems, tokens and talismans. Lampwork/Flamework is the tabletop version of glassblowing.
Biography/Details

I've been working in hot glass for over fifteen years and come from a background in curating and teaching art, with a BA in Silversmithing & Jewellery. Every glass element large or small is created entirely by me, in the flame. I am inspired by people, places, objects, artefacts and stories. My glass celebrates colour, pattern, light and the beauty of the small.

I am a selected member of the Suffolk Craft Society, an Associate Member of Designer Makers 21 in Diss and am listed on the Crafts Council Directory, I have been with SOS since 2011. Follow my website or social media for up to date information on where I am showing and other Open Studio days. Also find my glass at Walsingham Gallery and Frame in North Norfolk, DM 21 in Diss and Craftco in Southwold.
