Self-taught, I have been working as a professional artist since 2006 when I was based in Dubai. I worked full time providing artwork to individuals, interior designers and hotels until my return to the UK in 2011. I have some paintings at the home of a member of the Abu Dhabi Royal Family as well as some prominent hotels in Dubai.
My work has always been abstract and involving the use of bold colours and sometimes textures. I am heavily influenced by the coast which provides inspiration for a lot of my work.
As well as being on the committee of Suffolk Open Studios, I take part in exhibitions and art fairs in East Anglia and beyond including being a regular at Art on the Prom in Felixstowe. I am also a member of Felixstowe Art Group and an elected member of Ipswich Art Society.
