DESCRIPTION:A solo exhibition of abstract paintings and mixed media art by Ruth Lyne at The Craft House in Woodbridge\, part of Suffolk Open Studios.\n\nWeekdays – 9.30am to 4pmSaturday and Sunday – 9.30 to 5pm\n\nThe exhibition will feature a new collection of artwork inspired by the river Deben both in Woodbridge and where it meets the North Sea at Felixstowe Ferry.\nThere will also be a selection of paintings inspired by the colours and textures of the coast. I don’t try to recreate the natural world in my art work\, instead I want to create an image that evokes the feeling of walking by the sea and watching the waves with the wind at your face.\nPlease call in to see the exhibition and maybe have a chat with me about the art.

Having lived in the countryside for many years\, the joy of nature can be explored and portrayed in a creative form.\n\nCarol and Clare derive such pleasure from transferring pure expression onto canvas with different art techniques.\n\n“Nature Without Nurture” can be seen at Beyond the Image Gallery from the 3rd of May until the 25th of May\, Fridays\, Saturdays and Sundays between 11:00am and 4:00pm.
