Abby Monroe Noble is a mixed-media artist based on the Suffolk coast. Her work explores memory, myth, landscape, and the passage of time. Rooted in the coastal environment where she lives and works, her practice draws on found natural materials, photography, textiles, paper, thread, and print processes to create layered pieces that feel both contemporary and ancient.
Working intuitively and cyclically — guided by seasons, moon phases, and personal rhythm — she creates artworks that hold traces of story, place, and lived experience. Her process often begins with fieldwork: walking, collecting, photographing, and observing, before translating these encounters into mixed-media works, artist books, and assemblages.
Abby’s practice is deeply concerned with the relationship between making and living, and with the quiet narratives held within domestic objects, natural fragments, and discarded materials. Through collage, stitch, photographic manipulation, and layered surfaces, she builds pieces that invite stillness, reflection, and connection.
Alongside her studio practice, she mentors artists and creatives, helping them refine their visual language, shape their online presence and confidently share their work on and offline.
