CHARITY

As part of the aims for Suffolk Open Studios, we look to develop working partnerships across art communities, to explore and support education, training, and complimentary activities. With this is mind we are now in the second year of a special partnership with Suffolk Artlink.

Suffolk Artlink are a participatory arts charity developing and delivering inclusive arts programmes in communities, bringing change to people’s lives. As artists we know the valuable role creativity plays in our lives so it seemed fitting to try and help  Suffolk Artlink as we celebrate our own art this summer.

We are hoping to raise awareness of the excellent work Suffolk Artlink does whilst at the same time raise funds for them. You will have the chance to win original artworks donated by Suffolk Open Studio artists in the prize draw at our opening exhibition at The Apex in February/March.

You can also see the prizes and purchase tickets online  (details will be added). This donation will go straight to Suffolk Artlink and directly support their work. We very much hope that you will get involved, purchase a ticket and help us support this superb local Charity. Good Luck!

Suffolk Artlink develop and deliver inclusive arts programmes in communities that bring skills, support networks, confidence and joy to people in the East.

Their creative projects aim to help people transform their lives through the arts, and are delivered in places including community centres, hospitals and hospices, residential homes, refuges and schools.

Their work is led by experienced arts practitioners, encompassing a rich variety of art forms, and is delivered in close partnership with care, education, voluntary and community organisations.

Visit their website to find out more about Forget-me- not Visitors, JumpstART, Clown Round Rock Up and many other fantastic projects.

Excitingly, Suffolk Artlink have joined Suffolk Open Studios in their own right to open up in June and display some of the work created by people who take part in their projects.

You can find them in the online directory here and also in the printed directory.
