I am a printmaker who specialises in creating unique, limited- edition prints using traditional methods of etching and relief printing.
I live and work in Suffolk where the surrounding countryside often provides inspiration for my prints. I love experimenting with colour, particularly with relief print, and enjoy the challenge of distilling the complexity of a landscape into a design.
Although I studied art at A level and went on to do courses in water colour and screen printing, it wasn't until I retired to Suffolk that I had the time and opportunity to develop my love of printing. A course at Sudbourne Park Printmakers rekindled that love and I'm now delighted to be a member of the group myself.
Recently, I have teamed up with my husband, Neil Clayton, a woodworker, and we have exhibited together in the Craft House, Woodbridge and the George Farnham gallery in Saxmundham under the umbrella of Clayton Creatives.
We're both delighted to be able to create a hub with my sister, Camilla Nicholls, a potter, for this year's SOS.
