Documentary photography and printing (photogravure, salt prints, cyanotype)
I work with documentary photography and the physicality of the printed image and have a keen interest in the tangible output of work as a counterpoint to the digital world. This can be through books, prints or handprinted processes such as photogravure, cyanotype or salt print. I believe that the nature of photography is inherently a collaborative act, whether between a photographer and either their subject, or a creative team, or the environment, each element contributes to the creation of the final image.
