It is the fields and woodlands of rural Suffolk that provide Caro Burberry with a deep and enduring connection to nature.
A lifelong artist with a strong background in printmaking and drawing, she received a classical training at The Frink School of Figurative Sculpture. Caro has enjoyed collaborations with fine art foundries and museums in the UK and USA. She now works from her studio near Framlingham, the rural surroundings and her voluptuous vegetable garden providinginfinite inspiration for sculptures, paintings, drawings and prints.
“My creativity is an endless exploration and celebration of the majesty of nature: burgeoning hedgerows, flamboyant blooms, ambrosial fruits, flourishing creatures; snapshots of our natural world pulsating with life.”
Caro has led specialist workshops for over 35 years and worked as a guest lecturer at De Montfort University in Leicester. She was Elected a Member of the Royal Society of Sculptors in 2012.
