Biography
Claire is a painter/Curator, working in Suffolk
Claire makes paintings in oils that connect with others, capturing a moment in time, telling a story or a feeling or an emotion.
She is inspired by landscape, still lives and undertakes portraits commissions.
Claire is also founder of Artspace Woodbridge, a gallery for artists, a white space.
Recent achievements: Residency in China 2019, invited by Nanxi Academy, called 'When London meets Wenzhou'. As part of this group, Claire was invited to paint the mountains and Nanxi River landscapes.
Claire loves a challenge, working fast, and is passionate about what she does, loving innovation and always learning.
She was born into an artistic family, studying at Ipswich Art School and St. Martins School of Art, London. Claire went on to work in Paris for 20 years as a Fashion Designer.
