Duncan works both freelance and from his studio at Earl Soham near Framlingham, combining his conservation/restoration practice with practical pottery (making a range of decorative and functional objects in the studio pottery tradition).

As a conservator/restorer, Duncan works for private clients, dealers, auction houses and heritage organisations. He has worked with The National Trust, Plowden & Smith, and Tiago Oliveira Conservation. As a potter, Duncan accepts commissions and usually has work available for purchase.
