Esther Keeble

I have always found contentment in painting and art. As a child, I enjoyed exploring paints, colour and creativity.

Over the last few years I have set aside time to concentrate on making art again, beginning with sketching before moving onto painting with oil and watercolour . I find inspiration from the everyday - a trip out, a walk, people going about their business, animals and the countryside.

Currently, I favour working with charcoal. I enjoy how workable and tactile it is, and have recently favoured it over other mediums, focusing particularly on drawing cats.

At the start of this year, my work has been selected for exhibition in Cambridge and Sheffield .  I am currently working towards further exhibitions and open calls.
