Through experimental printmaking, I explore climate, politics, and the natural environment.
Biography/Details
John is a contemporary printmaker whose practice explores the climate crisis, ecological and societal collapse, and their relationship to justice and adaptation. Working with abstraction and painterly approaches, he uses experimental printmaking techniques to create layered, textural works that reflect instability and change.
His prints often sit between abstraction and landscape, emphasising process, material experimentation, and chance. Climate change is treated not as an abstract issue but as a lived, political condition shaped by power and inequality. Through contemporary printmaking, John’s work contributes to ongoing conversations around climate art, environmental justice, and socially engaged practice.
