Flamework glass bead necklaces/ bracelets
I use the Flamework process with Murano glass rods to form my beads and thread them with waxed cotton.

Biography/Details

I started my design life as a clothes designer, making my own patterns and selling the clothes, mainly using Liberty fabrics in my shop in Bristol.

Since that first shop I have tried my hand at pottery and then fused glass.

That experience moved me into the glass beads.  I had a weekend course on Murano with Davide Penso who now runs a school on Murano, Venice.  I am mainly self taught.

I love the fact that the colour is mainly predictable so I can plan a colour palette for each necklace.
