Stained Glass Artist
Taking inspiration from patterns in the natural world, I create bespoke stained glass using both traditional and contemporary techniques.
Biography/Details

From my garden studio, I design & make bespoke stained-glass windows to commission and create original and unique glass gifts. I also offer a restoration service and run classes. My work is heavily influenced by light & pattern, and I take inspiration from the natural world around me. I use both traditional forms of construction (lead & copper-foil) aswell as incorporating contemporary techniques such as appliqué (mosaic) and fused glass.

My love affair with glass started in my 20s when as a design student I went on a course run by a glass designer at the renowned Goddard & Gibbs Studio. The seed was sown but I was already on a career path in Landscape Design. Fast forward 25 years and I returned to stained glass during a prolonged period of ill health, when the opportunity arose to work alongside a local glass artist. I haven't looked back since!
