Biography/Details
I am a potter and a printmaker. My ceramic work is functional, mainly mugs and bowls. This year I have been working on refining my glaze techniques, especially the 'frozen pond' technique in blues and greens. I also like to paint animals from life onto ceramic surfaces, especially Suffolk wildlife. Expect to find hares, stoats, weasels, avocets and more!
My printmaking is also based on places I know and love in coastal Suffolk. As a member of Sudbourne Park Printmakers, I am mainly an etcher, although I do also venture into other print methods.
