Biography/Details
I have recently moved to Beccles from the south east of Essex after retiring from teaching art.
I am now enjoying my own garden studio which allows me time to develop ideas for paintings.
I have a long connection with Suffolk and love the landscape, marsh and field, sea and sky is where I draw my inspiration I want to describe how it feels to experience walking in the countryside.
I have recently completed the CRG course at Helgate in Norwich which has developed ideas of combining bookbinding and ceramics, both of which I continue to explore.
I have exhibited at Snape Maltings for several years so Suffolk open studios will be an exciting new opportunity to extend my profile within my new home county
