Biography/Details
I work mostly with acrylics, sometimes with oils on canvas or board, with a current emphasis on painting from life. I enjoy doing portraits and studies of people , also local landscapes including horses and pigs, still life and abstract pictures. I find the act of mixing colours and exploring how light falls and interacts a joyful if challenging undertaking. My aim is to communicate or share something of that joy of colour and curiosity about light with the viewer. I would be happy to arrange visits at other times by phone.
