Suffolk Open Studios Members’ Exhibition, Christmas @ Clare
28th November – 7th December 2025
Exhibition Entry Form
All Full, Associate or Student SOS members are eligible to enter work, however, although The Old Goods Shed is a large venue, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to fit everyone’s work into the space available.
You may enter items for this exhibition from Monday 29th September 2025 until midnight on Sunday 9th November 2025. Entries received after the deadline will not be accepted.
NB The Exhibition Team reserves the right to close exhibition entries early if it becomes clear that the show will be over-subscribed.
For full details of entry criteria, please refer to the Conditions of Entry (CoE) document circulated to members as an attachment to your Monday email of 29th September or downloadable from the Member Downloads section of this website.
An entry fee of £15 is payable for each artist. One entry per artist.
Your single entry entitles you to submit one or two main works (a Collection of small works counts as a single item) subject to size (please see CoE for details), plus up to three browser pieces and 10 greetings cards. Please send a photograph of each main item submitted (or of a few example pieces for each Collection) to the main SOS email address (simply reply to a Monday email and it will get to us). This is NOT for selection purposes (there is NO selection process for this show). The pictures simply help the organizers get a head-start visualizing the hang.
The images should be in JPG format and the filename should follow the pattern:
[ARTIST-NAME]_[TITLE]_[SIZE IN CM].jpg e.g. jane-bloggs_southwold-seascape_500x500.jpg
Please note, commission of 10% will be charged on ALL sales.
Once you have submitted this application form, payment must be made immediately to confirm your entry. You can do so via this link. You may use the same link to purchase advertising space in the Exhibition Catalogue.
STEWARDING IS A CONDITION OF ENTRY. Sign up for your stewarding slot here.
Please complete the form below for your single permitted entry.
Please note: “Collection” on the form below refers to a collection of small 3D work e.g. jewellery, glass or ceramics.
IMPORTANT: It is a good idea to take a screenshot or written note of all information entered into this form, as you will need some of it to complete your Artist Sales Sheet which should be filled in by hand and brought with you on Drop-off day (Thursday 27th November 9am-12noon). Artist Sales Sheets will be emailed to all participating artists once entries close.
PLEASE ENTER YOUR DETAILS EXACTLY AS YOU WOULD LIKE THEM TO APPEAR IN THE CATALOGUE – THIS INCLUDES USING CORRECT CAPITALS PLEASE. TAKE CAREFUL NOTE OF MAXIMUM CHARACTER COUNTS WHEN SPECIFIED.
This is so important I’m going to write it again!
PLEASE ENTER YOUR DETAILS EXACTLY AS YOU WOULD LIKE THEM TO APPEAR IN THE CATALOGUE – THIS INCLUDES USING CORRECT CAPITALS PLEASE. TAKE CAREFUL NOTE OF MAXIMUM CHARACTER COUNTS WHEN SPECIFIED.
We do not need details of browser items or greetings cards at this time. These should be entered onto your Artist Sales Sheet (see above).
Be aware – when you click SUBMIT this form may take between 3 and 30 seconds to go through. Please do not click SUBMIT more than once (your browser tab should indicate whether or not the form is being processed). Please do not try to save the form and email it to us – this simply results in us receiving a link to a blank form. If you are in any doubt, please contact us and we will be able to confirm your form has been received and if not, arrange for you to enter your work by another method.
