Biography/Details

My Husband and I settled in our beloved Suffolk some 19 years ago the perfect location to indulge our love of the natural world. We initially lived at Minsmere before moving to Aldringham. A keen nature lover and hobby potter for many years,  I opened my own studio teaching and developing my own pieces over the last three years.  My pieces are individually sculpted in stoneware. They are inspired by the beautiful coast, woodlands and heath and the animals, plants and creatures found within.

I have a background in therapeutic services and discovered my passion for ceramics and its benefit on wellbeing. Working with natural clay and making beautiful creations can be very grounding and bring pleasure and mindfulness  into peoples lives.

I love the diversity and range of art and personal interest and development that ceramics offer. 30 years on I’m still in love with it!  This year I have been developing my larger sculptures. Please come and see them in my small beautiful cottage garden.
