After training as a graphic designer I worked in London in design and publishing. In 1989 I went with my young family to live in Minnesota for 7 years, while there, I studied painting and printing at St Olaf College. Returning to England, I continued with these skills building a career as an artist and exhibiting locally and in America.
I exhibit my work mainly in 'Tideliners' a Summer exhibition in Burnham Overy Staithe, Norfolk and 'Artworks' an Autumn exhibition in October in Blackthorpe Barn, Rougham nr Bury St Edmunds and, of course, Suffolk Open Studios. I also enjoy being part of a number of smaller, local exhibitions.
As well as my framed work, I make a number of small unframed works, unique prints and limited runs of cards. I have taught and given demonstrations in the past but now am happy just working away in my lovely studio. I look forward to welcoming past and new visitors.
