Making recycled paper from unwanted documents and plants, I use it for drawing, Lino-printing and book-making. I use pencil, ink, wash and collage.
Biography/Details

I took a Foundation course at Brighton college of Art. I gained a 1st. Class Honours Birmingham Polytechnic Diploma in Interior Design and then an MA in Environmental Design at the Royal College of Art.

I worked in Architecture, Interior Design, Television and Theatre as  designer.

I worked as a designer - maker in Lighting, Soft Furnishing, Props and Accessories.

Alongside I taught on Foundation and Design courses. After studying for a PGCE at Goldsmiths I taught in Primary schools, Dulwich Picture Gallery and now at Sir John Soane's Museum. I also teach privately.

In 1983 I started making recycled paper which led to my using it for drawing and collage, Lino-printing and book-making. I mould the pulp to produce containers.

My subject matter is predominately buildings and structures, occasionally landscape. I am also interested in patterns and have produced an alphabet.
