My work is inspired by the colours, textures and rhythms found in nature. I create layered abstract paintings that reflect a sense of place, memory and connection to the landscape.
Using acrylic paint, collage and other mixed media I create layers of texture. I build surfaces slowly and intuitively, often scraping back and revealing earlier layers as the work develops. This process mirrors the natural weathering and transformation found in the environment and gives each painting its own unique character.
I am particularly drawn to coastal landscapes, open skies and the subtle beauty of natural textures. My aim is to create artwork that feels both contemporary and timeless—pieces that bring a sense of calm, warmth and understated elegance to the spaces in which they live.
